Job Title: Senior Consultant - LMS

Introduction to role

Are you ready to redefine an industry and change lives? As a Senior Consultant LMS at AstraZeneca, you will be part of a global multi-functional team within Enabling Units IT - Learning IT GITC Chennai. You will function as a Domain Expert in technology on complex global projects, supporting the functionality, configuration, and documentation of Global Learning Tools. Your role will involve partnering with global collaborators to improve organizational capabilities, reinforce processes, and ensure regulatory compliance. You'll conduct Business Process Analysis, design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning tools, while interacting with Senior Leaders and supporting System Administrators. Accountabilities

  • Carry out problem management for the learning management solution by identifying, escalating, and addressing root causes.

  • Lead resolution of identified problems through various channels and report back to customers.

  • Ensure full realization of learning technology benefits through business consulting activities.

  • Analyze, validate, and document changes to address business needs cost-effectively.

  • Drive end-to-end resolution of problems within validated learning technology systems.

  • Chair key meetings with customers to build strong working relationships.

  • Maintain documentation to uphold systems validation status.

  • Enforce to GxP and SOX regulations and handle deviations appropriately.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Experience of incident management and ability to perform effective Problem management/troubleshooting.

  • Learning Management Systems configuration and management.

  • Excellent English written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Project Management.

  • Time management and organizational skills.

  • Skilled in Vendor Management.

  • Customer service skills.

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years implementing, configuring, and maintaining Learning Management Systems within biotech, pharmaceutical, or similarly industries.

  • Experience working within validated system environments.

  • Experience working with API and Endpoints (e.g., Mulesoft).

  • Understanding of GxP and SOX regulations and processes.

  • Understanding of eLearning communication protocols (e.g., SCORM, xAPI, AICC), and their interaction with LMS.

  • Familiar with continuous improvement processes (e.g., Lean).
